Chiranjeevi and Rajshekhar at loggerheads during MAA event
Movie Artist Association (MAA) today witnessed a war of words between two mega stars from the South film industry, K Chiranjeevi and V Rajashekhar.
At an event organised to launch the 2020 diary of Movie Artists Association (MAA), Rajashekhar interrupted the proceedings and took the stage to speak about his ongoing tussle with Naresh, the current president of MAA. He also blamed the later for his ongoing personal and professional losses.
Chiranjeevi and other members tried to stop him, but to no avail. The former felt that Rajshekhar should not wash his dirty linen in public like that but rather clear the rifts internally within the members.
After R Rajashekhar left the stage, Chiranjeevi openly condemned him and asked for strong disciplinary action to be taken against the latter. He added that Rajasekhar’s words were not respected and issues concerned with MAA should be discussed within four walls.
This latest altercation adds to the drama within the Telugu industry, ever since the elections in March 2019, when Naresh and Rajasekhar started waging a battle.
The event was attended by big names like Mohan Babu, Krishnam Raju etc.
