'Channel partners find potential opportunities in Cyber Security'
Joe Sarno, Vice President, International Emerging, MEA, Eastern Europe, India & SAARC
Fortinet's annual SAARC partner conference saw the company recognizing partners for outstanding cybersecurity sales and customer experience and introducing new business opportunities with its Fabric Ready Partner Program.
The conference also had business and technology sessions where Fortinet gave pointers to partners to expand their offerings and maintain their competitive advantages. Fortinet also provided assets and guidance to resellers looking to enter new security markets. At the end of the conference, several partners expressed greater confidence in developing a wide range of security services to offer their customers while increasing their engineering productivity and profitability.
At the event, Joe Sarno, Vice President, International Emerging, MEA, Eastern Europe, India & SAARC, Fortinet remarked thatbecause of its critical and complex nature, cyber security continues to be one of the largest opportunities for its channel partners. "Integrators who can plan, design, deploy, and optimize security offerings are finding a growing demand for their skills. By tying traditional security appliances and emerging technologies together into an integrated security fabric, partners can help their customers gather and respond to more actionable intelligence, synchronize threat responses and orchestrate security management.”
