CEAMA honours Anil Khera with "Man of Electronics" award
Anil Khera, CEO, Videocon d2h was recognised as the “Man of Electronics” by CEAMA.
This accolade is in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the growth of the consumer electronics and appliances industry in India and reaffirms the deep respect the industry has for his pioneering stewardship of the industry.
The award was conferred by PP Chaudhary, minister of state for law & justice and electronics & IT, government of India held in New Delhi.
Anil Khera is a veteran of the electronics and appliances industry and has been at various leadership roles. As the first MD of Sansui, Khera made it among the best selling TV brands. As MD of Kelvinator, he guided it to high growth in a fragmented, intensely competitive industry. In 2008, he joined Videocon d2h, the DTH service brand from the Videocon group. Khera has been instrumental in making Videocon d2h among the top brands and the fastest growing DTH service in India. Under his leadership, Videocon d2h became the first Indian media company to be listed on NASDAQ.
