C-DOT launches cyber threat detection and resolution system – TRINETRA
Union Minister of State for Communications Devusinh Chauhan has launched the indigenously developed cyber threat detection and resolution system - Trinetra. It has been launched on the 40th Foundation Day of Centre for Development of Telematics. Trinetra developed by C-DOT is a combination of multiple security systems that provides round-the-clock near real-time actionable cyber security status and detection and resolution of cyber threats.
Chauhan encouraged young engineers and entrepreneurs to innovate relentlessly to realise the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and continue developing cutting-edge technological applications for the larger benefit of citizens.
The minister also inaugurated C-DOT's Enterprise Security Operation Centre (ESOC) at the C-DOT campus in the national capital.
C-DOT is an Indian Government owned telecommunications technology development centre. It was established in 1984 with initial mandate of designing and developing digital exchanges. C-DOT has expanded to develop intelligent computer software applications. It has offices in Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata. It is one of the few government organisations in India which have been appraised at Maturity Level 5 of CMMI-DEV v1.3.
