Canon revolutionizes industrial printer industry, organizes facility visit

Canon has always been a frontrunner in the printing industry and has always offered its customers the best-of-breed technology. The company has recently organized a demonstration at its NOIDA facility centre to display its new-generation printers and the unique selling point of these products.

During the visit, five different industrial printers were demonstrated. The model of the printers were – iPR C8000VP/C10000VP, iPR C850/C750/C650, iRADV 85XX Series, Oce VP 6000 Ultra, DreamLabo 5000. All the printers come with different printing qualities and features.

iPR C8000VP/C10000VP is a big machine for heavy industrial usage that can print cut sheets of excellent texture media printing. It can print up to 100 pages per minute and the duty cycle of this machine is 15 lakh A4 prints in a month.

Canon showcased another printer – iPR C850/C750/C650, a compact machine but the features are immense. This machine can print a wide variety of papers from cut sheets to duplex banner printing and texture media printing. This can print up to 85 pages per minute and laser printing in four colours.

Oce VP 6000 Ultra – B/W, a black and white printer, can print 320 pages in a minute along with electro photography printing. The duty cycle of this machine is around 1 crore A4 prints in one month.

Similarly, iRADV 85XX Series, another black and white printer that has features like laser printing, 105 pages per minute and 10 lakh A4 prints in a month. The last machine was the DreamLabo 5000 which is mainly a photograph printer with extra ordinary printing features. Glossy, metallic, lustre and satin papers can also be printed with this machine. This machine is mainly focussed on photo album printing and can also produce duplex prints. It is a 7 col dye-based inkjet m/c and can also take RGB/CMYK input.
