Camera technology to revolutionize new-age operations
Today, camera technology has been widely used everywhere for security, analysis, innovations, with this the technology is getting enhanced .There has been an increasing demand for bigger, better and faster imaging in consumer electronics. The advancements in camera technologies are widely based on the type and potential of electronic components used, such as microcontrollers, microprocessors ,sensors, and integrated circuits.
Most of the high tech industries is undergoing revolutionary transformation as Robots are everywhere. From factories to warehouses to hospitals and even our homes, robots today have found applications in almost every area of our lives. As their cognitive abilities improve with developments in artificial intelligence and supporting elements such as camera technology and computer vision, robots have replaced humans not just in mundane tasks, but in activities that require intelligent decision-making. And service robots are no exception to this.
We have witnessed the demand for surveillance cameras, which is one of the most ubiquitous and recognizable technologies used to watch us as we move about our daily lives. At the same time, Networks of cameras are installed by government agencies and by local businesses. Camera technology is growing in sophistication: some cameras are capable of 360-degree video or infrared vision. Some models can be equipped with real-time face recognition or license plate recognition software. Since many are also being connected directly to the Internet, the camera networks have also proven easy targets for malicious attackers.
We have also seen how the camera/imaging technology are used as the robots for personal or domestic use, which are connected to a networked repository on the internet that allows such machines to share the information required for object recognition, navigation and task completion in the real world. The aim is to shed light on how these robots will challenge current rules on data protection and privacy. On one hand, a new generation of network-centric applications could in fact collect data incessantly and in ways that are “out of control,” because such machines are increasingly “autonomous.” On the other hand, it is likely that individual interaction with personal machines, domestic robots, and so forth.
Modern technology has paved the way for multi-functional devices like the smartwatch and the smartphone. Computers are increasingly faster, more portable, and higher-powered than ever before. With all of these revolutions, technology has also made our lives easier, faster, better, and more fun.
