CA Technologies names new Head of its India Technology Center

CA Technologies has announced that Tanuj Vohra has been named Senior Vice-President of its India Technology Center. Vohra will be based in Hyderabad, leading development efforts there as well as in Bangalore. He will report directly to Ayman Sayed, Chief Product Officer of CA Technologies.

“Tanuj is a seasoned executive who has held leadership roles and managed successful development organizations in global corporations. He joins CA at an exciting time as we continue to evolve our own modern software factory to help customers move from ideas to outcomes faster,” said Ayman Sayed. “With his experience and expertise, Tanuj’s leadership will be invaluable for the India Technology Center to continuously develop and deliver new and innovative products for the changing market. His charter will include deepening collaborations throughout CA to help drive growth for India, the Asia-Pacific and Japan region and globally.”

Prior to joining CA, Vohra held multiple leadership positions at Microsoft and IBM. At Microsoft, he was, most recently, part of the team responsible for accelerating the digital transformation of India, leveraging Microsoft assets. Prior to this, he led the Sales Service Offerings for Microsoft India and was tasked with building a modern platform for Microsoft sellers and partners. As part of the development organization at Microsoft, Vohra was responsible for delivering high-quality enterprise services that drive product and operational excellence, agility and customer centricity, while leveraging standards to reduce complexity and costs.

At IBM, Vohra was responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for the worldwide development of Rational Portfolio Manager product. He was also the co-founder of the Step-In Forum Hyderabad chapter, which focusses exclusively on software testing.

Vohra holds a bachelor of engineering degree in computer science and engineering from Punjab Engineering College and a master’s degree in computer science from the Michigan Technological University.
