CA teams up with IDG Ventures India Fund
CA Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with IDG Ventures India to help drive innovation in the enterprise software market.
Jacob Lamm, EVP of Strategy and Corporate Development, CA Technologies, said, “We believe in the growth and innovation of India’s development community. With IDG Ventures India, we have a proven partner who can help us gain early visibility into the many enterprise software start-ups in the region that represent compelling investment opportunities.”
The investment is expected to complement the organic growth planned for CA Technologies in its R&D and Engineering centres, along with expansion into enterprise markets, including mobility, cloud, Software-as-a-Service, big data and DevOps. With this investment, CA Technologies also gains periodic proprietary updates on technology trends, market dynamics and the venture landscape, which will provide the company better visibility into coming trends in the enterprise software market.
