"Datacenter (Colocation), Community Cloud and Managed Security Services have witnessed growing demand this year. With the growing need for mission critical applications to be available round the clock, enhanced focus on resource optimization and scalability on demand cloud has become the choice of the industry. Vertical focused cloud solutions such as banking community cloud, ERP community cloud have been preferred by banks as well as organizations using enterprise resource planning (namely SAP) as cloud helps them eliminate the need for annual maintenance costs, hardware refresh and other associated costs and deploy the SAP applications on cloud on a pay-as-you-use model. Likewise, today 16+ banks are deployed on our banking community cloud – CtrlS is in fact, the first across the globe to have launched Tier-4 Community Cloud (Banking, ERP). Lastly, CIOs and CISOs tend to have sleepless nights due to unanticipated attacks on their applications/infrastructure. Very recently, British Airways was hacked and 380,0000 credit card details of customers were stolen. Likewise, in India, it is estimated that the data theft has increased by approximately 800% in 2017, the same years our country witnessed 29 major data breaches. In February 2018, Punjab National Bank reportedly suffered a data breach, affecting around 10,000 credit/debit card customers, while the data leak included names of customers, card expiry date, CVV numbers etc. Our next generation security offering addresses the pain-points of businesses by offering our managed security services powered by our security operations center (SOC) which monitors critical applications/infrastructure round the clock. Our Cloud Managed Services (CMS) aids businesses wishing to adopt cloud services irrespective of their choice, as we offer cloud consulting, architecture, deployment and manage the same through our managed services. Our Cloud Managed Services are available across AWS, Azure, Cloud4C and we would shortly be rolling out others as well.
Hyperscale datacenters are the future of datacenters. With the impending Indian Data Privacy law, most of the overseas entities operating in India will have to host the data locally. Secondly, as majority of businesses in the country will embrace cloud computing – the adoption rates are abysmally under 10% and are likely to grow to over 70% in the next 3 to 5 years. Third, with the advent of IOT, Smart Cities, explosion of data in Social media, ecommerce, online buying there is a compelling need to store the consumer and transactional data for analysis – hence big data combined with artificial intelligence, business analytics is gaining prominence. IoT deployments are likely to cross 2 billion units by 2020 in India. Mobile data – Thanks to aggressive focus by players such as Reliance Jio is leading to surge of mobile data growth, Smart phone penetration is also likely to cross 700 million. Digital India is yet another key driver of data growth – e-filing of taxes, digital payments, e-initiatives by current government led by Shri Narendra Modi will witness surge of data. All the factors – Cloud, Social Media, Data Privacy, IoT, Smart Cities, Big Data. Mobile data Digital India initiatives etc will lead to explosion of data needing hyperscale datacenters in India. At CtrlS, we are soon planning World’s largest Hyperscale Datacenter facility to address the growing needs of our country.
Ensuring data safety of our customers and keeping their applications available round the clock with zero down time has been our success mantra. We see our Success in our Customers Success.
In the year 2017-18, we have launched two Tier-4 data centers – Noida (100% Pollution Free, 100% Quake Proof), Bangalore (Quake Proof, Powered by renewable energy). Our Community Cloud (Banking and ERP) witnessed rapid adoption by banks as well as businesses using SAP. Besides this, Cloud4C – our cloud offering has made rapid progress the last year and we are now present in 20 countries and 40 locations worldwide."
