Brocade acquires virtual ADC company SteelApp
Brocade has completed its acquisition of the assets of the SteelApp business unit from Riverbed Technology. The addition of the SteelApp product line strengthens Brocade's software networking portfolio for New IP data center deployments.

SteelApp's virtual ADCs significantly enhance our open Vyatta Platform offering for NFV and SDN, which plays a major role in transforming traditional network infrastructure for enterprise, cloud and telco customers through the power of virtualization," said Kelly Herrell, SVP, Software Networking, Brocade.
SteelApp is one of the top virtual ADCs providing scalable, secure, and elastic delivery of enterprise, cloud, and e-commerce applications. The SteelApp product line controls traffic to and from applications and enables fast, reliable, and secure application delivery to users anywhere from the cloud or data center.
