Bhumi to make a special appearance in Subh Mangal Zyada Savadhaan
Bhumi Pednekar will be seen making a special appearance in Subh Mangal Savadhaan’s sequel, entitled Subh Mangal Zyada Savadhaan (SMZS). The story revolves around same-sex couples, as confirmed by a source.
Confirming the news, the producer of the film Anand L. Rai said, “Bhumi is a part of Subh Mangal Savadhaan family, and we cannot imagine making a sequel without her. She has a special appearance and we are extremely happy to have her on board”.
Bhumi had earlier hinted that after working with Anand L Rai, she knew she would reunite with the filmmaker for another film. “Our sensibilities match and I look up to him. Maybe they can make a sequel to Subh Mangal...so Ayushmaan and I can make a hattrick’’, she had said back then.
This film is going to be Bhumi’s 4th film with Ayushmaan after three consecutive successes - ‘Dum Lagake Haisha (2015), Subh Mangal Savadhaan (2018) and Bala (2019).
Bhumi will be seen in three films this year - Durgavati, Bhoot Part One- The Haunted Ship and Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, apart from SMZS. She is said to be a part of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions multi-starrer period drama Takth, the shooting for which shall begin this year.
