BEL, a state-owned aerospace and defence company, was formed to manufacture the basic communication equipment in India but now it produces a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment in fields such as Defence Communication, Radars, Naval Systems, C4I Systems, Weapon Systems, Homeland Security, Telecom & Broadcast Systems, Electronic Warfare, Tank Electronics, Electro Optics, Professional Electronic Components and Solar Photovoltaic Systems, BEL also provides turnkey system solutions.
BEL has signed a MoU with Grene Robotics to develop Autonomous Manpads Data Link System (AMDLS). It is a state-of-the-art data link system, which exploits AI to provide a comprehensive air defence solution. The MoU was signed at Aero India 2021.
