Autodesk partners with Jurong Consultants to implement BIM services

Autodesk has announced its  collaboration with Jurong Consultants (India) to enable full Building Information Modelling (BIM) services delivery out of their Indian office in Bengaluru. With this partnership, Autodesk will provide Autodesk Building Design Suite software to help Jurong Consultants adopt BIM for its projects worldwide and in India. Jurong Consultants (India) is a member of Jurong International.

Sunil MK, Head - Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Division of Autodesk India & SAARC said, “We are excited about our association with Jurong Consultants. Autodesk Revit software, which is specifically designed for BIM projects, will help Jurong Consultants empower its design and construction professionals to bring ideas from concept to construction with a coordinated and consistent model-based approach.”  

Jurong Consultants are creating a design center as a means of enhancing their multidisciplinary service delivery through BIM. The company decided to adopt Autodesk Revit software as it provides a comprehensive workflow- based solution as part of Autodesk Building Design Suite. Revit is Autodesk’s industry leading BIM software, and includes features for architectural design, MEP, structural engineering and construction.
