ASUS unveils F2A85 Series motherboards

ASUS has rolled out its all new F2A85 Series motherboards based on the new AMD A85X chipset and FM2 socket. These motherboards are specifically designed for AMD’s second generation Accelerated Processing Units (APU).
Vinay Shetty, Country Head - Component Business, ASUS (India), explained, “The F2A85 boards are designed to accommodate the AMD A85X platform, designed to support up to 5GT/s interface speed and PCI Express 2.0 x 16 graphics, and support the new and upcoming line of Socket FM2 A-Series APUs.”
These Windows 8 ready motherboards are equipped with the Dual Intelligent Processors 3 (DIP3) with new DIGI+ Power Controls along with GPU Boost to enhance integrated graphics up to 17%. Besides this, the newly launched also incorporates DLNA Media Hub, Remote Desktop and File Transfer feature.
The motherboards are great budget choices for single or dual-GPU setups and their feature set include Dual Intelligent Processors 3, Direct Key, USB BIOS Flashback, USB 3.0 Boost, and Network iControl,” he further remarked.
