ASUS launches range of gaming laptops powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled the latest range of gaming laptops, ROG Zephyrus S GX531, ROG Zephyrus S GX701, and ROG Strix SCAR II along with desktop GL12CX. Committed to enhancing every aspect of the gaming laptops, ASUS ROG has powered the graphics of these latest laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX engines, thus yielding incredibly fast displays framed by amazingly slim bezels, serving a fully immersive experience. Packing powerful features like advanced cooling and the newest updates, these laptops elevate the portable PC gaming experience, with each laptop packing a distinguished feature for the diverse needs of passionate gamers. ROG Strix SCAR and Hero will be available immediately from March 11th.

ROG Zephyrus S GX531

Proving ROG’s engineering prowess, Zephyrus S GX531 is an ultra-slim laptop that packs high-end gaming components. Targeting a thinner chassis, the slender exterior measures nearly 15.35~16.15mm and leverages a 15.6” display, featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q. The low profile doesn’t scale down specifications, as GX531 is powered by the latest Intel Core i7-8750H CPU, a premium 144Hz refresh rate display and 3ms response time plus all the ROG essentials. This makes the smaller Zephyrus S a more focused alternative for people who prioritize portability above everything else. Lastly, with patented AAS cooling system, 12V anti-dust cooling fans, 5 heat pipes and 4 heat sinks, the laptop offers a high-performance experience.

ROG Zephyrus S GX701GX

The 17” gaming laptop packs high-end computing prowess with up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU in an even more compact 15” ultra slim chassis. It ensures a great gaming experience with 144Hz 3ms response time display and gives content creators accurate, Pantone Validated colors with factory calibration and ProArt TruColor Technology. All this is packed in thin bezel design offering an 81% screen to body ratio. The S GX701GX also offers an exclusive GPU Switch that easily transitions between better gaming and longer battery life and the patented AAS cooling system sustains high performance via efficient cooling. The gaming laptop creates the perfect ambiance for gaming, with per-key RGB Lighting and Aura Sync, which also extends illumination to volume roller for quick adjustment and a glowing numpad that appears on the touchpad.

ROG Strix SCAR II

Latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX expands to horizons in true to life graphics with advanced Ray-Tracing Technology. Strix SCAR II is powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H six-core CPU, providing 23% more performance over the previous generation. With HyperCool Pro, the gaming laptop remains cool, even in the most heated battles.
