Astrum extends its Distribution network in eight states in India
Astrum has expanded its distribution network in eight regions in India. The plan includes an ambitious target to reach out to maximum number of customers in states such as Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and West Bengal.
Manoj Kumar Pansari, Chairman and Managing Director of Astrum, says, “To boost distribution network, we are focusing to increase our existing sales team and drive marketing to strengthen the brand across India. These regional distributors will help us bring our products to a greater number of people in the market for both online and offline, and will bring great employment opportunities to the people at a crucial time. Astrum focus has always remained to achieve 360-degree exposure in order to mark presence in general trade, OT/LFR, e-Commerce and corporate and we will soon intend to take width of distribution growth to at least 50% this year.”
While resuming with the production, Astrum will be soon introducing products in smart devices, wearable, audio range, gaming, IT peripherals, etc. this year under the “Made in India” tag. The products will be available at all e-commerce platform like Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, etc. Astrum India operations will strongly support sales and customer delivery across India apart from its research and development activities. There will also be an increase in the number of authorized service centers in the coming period of time where currently there are 1500+ authorized service centers nationwide.
Last month, Astrum had announced 4 products in health category for the first time in India with the launch of Portable UV Light Sterilizer–this can kill 99.99% germs & bacteria on surfaces like keyboards, mice, mouse pads, steering wheels which we often touch with our hands, the second one is a thermal scanner that measures the temperature of the COVID-19 suspected patients, the third one is Air Purifier, which purifies the air in the entire room and the fourth one is Automatic Sensor-based Hand Sanitizer.
