ASIRT to spend Rs.20 Lakh to promote pet project in 2014

At the dawn of 2014 as India rises with a new hope in political and international arena, it has been reported that ASIRT’s pet project, www.mumbaiITstreet.com has started delivering business to ASIRT members.
Initiated as an online search engine for end-users to search for the best IT companies for IT services and solutions desired, www.mumbaiITstreet.com helps users to make intelligent and specific search for right IT partners. Unlike most search engines that inundate searchers with millions of irrelevant results, a search on www.mumbaiITstreet.com (MIS) churns out only a few results, those of ASIRT member-companies with specific expertise searched for. This eases the burden of finding grain from heaps of chaff for the one searching simultaneously generating business for ASIRT members.
Last month, www.mumbaiITstreet.com clocked over 8,000 searches with over 5,000 users visiting it to search for IT partners. ASIRT also expects to hit 1 million searches in 2014 with a massive advertising, promotion and public awareness drive to help end-customers know about www.mumbaiITstreet.com.
ASIRT estimated a spend of Rs.20 lakh in 2014 to promote www.mumbaiITstreet.com amongst the target IT buyer segments which includes Enterprise CIOs, Government, SME IT managers, business owners, SOHO and other IT buyers. An amount not many members can afford to spend individually. ASIRT expects to generate additional business worth Rs.100 crore this year for members from www.mumbaiITstreet.com.
ASIRT claims that this project will deliver business, visibility and recognition to ASIRT members in 2014.
