ASIRT organizes first Techday of 2015

The first ASIRT Techday of 2015 attracted over 85 members with the theme: Reinvent the entrepreneur within you. The excitement was palpable with topics like “Tally for CEO as business decision-maker”, “Create Wealth, not just income” and finally “Elevating human potential to never-before heights”. Fortune Grecells launched “Gre@cells 2015, a high availability clustering system for undisrupted business operations with a live demonstration that showed Windows Server, terminals and client computers running without loss of data when server was shut down. Followed by thrilling demonstration of Tally continuing to run without data corruption when server was taken off network, the big bang moment was Gre@cells continuing to play video clip on server even as power cable of server was physically yanked out. Vikram Seth, a Chartered Accountant by profession and one of the largest Tally partners in the country, ran a live demonstration of how to run Tally as ERP and not an accounting software to generate decision-making reports to make business profitable and give direction to management of business growth, sustenance and bleeding aspects. Sanjay Mehta, angel investor and serial entrepreneur, spoke on how and why ASIRT members should aim for long-term business growth rather than transactional business and multiply their wealth by creating value for an investor. He clearly struck members’ emotional chord with how generating income is causing business stagnation and how ideas, funding and entrepreneurship can change the game for them.
