Apurva Chamaria quits HCL, joins RateGain

After a 13-year stint across markets, Apurva Chamaria has quit HCL Technologies and has joined RateGain as its chief revenue officer. Chamaria was the VP and head of corporate marketing at HCL Technologies.
Chamaria's role at RateGain will be a global one. His work will be to align sales, marketing, alliances and customer success together to maximize revenue across all areas of the business.
Speaking about his move, he said that there are two trends he sees at present – firstly, CMOs are moving to larger business roles and secondly, start-ups are roping in senior marketing talent to take their businesses to the next level.
His last day at HCL was 28 February.
