Amdocs named as market leader in revenue management space

Amdocs has announced that Analysys Mason’s “Revenue Management Systems: Worldwide Market Shares 2013” report has named Amdocs the global market-share leader in the overall revenue management space for the seventh consecutive year. According to Analysys Mason, Amdocs is the only vendor with overall market-share leadership across all geographical regions, and estimates Amdocs’ market share at 26.5 per cent, nearly three times that of the second-placed vendor (with 9.6 per cent).

The revenue management market covered by Analysys Mason includes billing, mediation, partner and interconnect solutions, across systems and services. Within billing, the report highlights the growing demand for convergent charging solutions in all regions, with convergent platforms becoming a mandatory requirement in all-new revenue management deployments, and the report names Amdocs market-share leader in this sub-segment as well.
