Akshay Kumar becomes the highest taxpayer for the fifth time in a row
Akshay Kumar has once again become the highest taxpayer from the entertainment industry, for which the Income Tax department has given him a Samman Patra, an honour certificate.
Akshay Kumar has reportedly retained the title of the highest taxpayer for the past five years. It has therefore not come as a big surprise to him as he has consistently been among India’s biggest taxpayers over the previous five years. Akshay Kumar has the maximum number of films today, as well as ruling the endorsement world. It’s no surprise for him to feature in the highest taxpayer list of India.
Since Akshay Kumar is currently shooting in the UK, his team accepted the honour certificate from the Income Tax Department on his behalf. The honorary certificate for Akshay Kumar has already gone viral on social media.
Akshay Kumar is currently filming in the UK alongside Tinu Desai. He was last seen in Samrat Prithviraj co-starring Manushi Chhillar that received mixed reviews and failed to attract the audience to the theatres. The actor has multiple releases in the coming months including Raksha Bandhan, followed by Ram Setu, Selfie and Oh My God 2.
