ADVA to connect Mission-Critical Data Centers throughout Europe

ADVA Optical Networking has announced that dm Drugstore Corporation is using the ADVA FSP 3000 to transport mission-critical information between its data centers. With approximately 50,000 employees and revenues in excess of 7.6 billion Euros in the 2012/2013 fiscal year, it is vital that dm Drugstore Corporation has the most robust and secure IT infrastructure available.
Uli Schlegel, Business Development, SAN Solutions, ADVA Optical Networking, said, "Trust is a quality that our team values. It is something that we build into everything we do. Not just in our technology but in our every action. When you are dealing with your customers' mission-critical data, with their reputation, with their business, you know that there cannot be any mistakes, any missed steps. This is part of the reason why we are helping dm Drugstore Corporation with its IBM mainframe Parallel Sysplex connectivity. They know our technology's reputation; they know what our team is capable of. As with all of our customers, they trust us. They know their data and their business is safe."
The backbone of this environment is an optical transmission solution based on the ADVA FSP 3000, which has recently been installed in cooperation with FILIADATA's long-standing partner, TelemaxX.
