Adobe announces new Document Cloud at Microsoft’s Business Applications Summit
At the Microsoft’s Business Applications Summit concluded on June 11 2019, Adobe, one of the gold sponsors at the event, has released its new Document cloud with latest integrations that will make it easier for users to work faster and smarter while keeping security at the core. The two major giants, with this integration would be delivering newer benefits to their customers.
By integrating Adobe Sign into the Microsoft Power platform, Adobe is helping its customers be more productive. For instance, this platform will allow the users to create custom Power Apps that work for their business. Adobe document cloud is also aimed to streamline complicated and slow workflow processes such as managing the execution of the contracts and with Adobe Sign added into these workflows users can be even more productive.
Adobe Sign and Acrobat already integrate deeply with SharePoint and OneDrive. Adding additional features will make it even easier to quickly view, create, edit and collaborate on PDFs. With this integration, Adobe is committed to deliver the best productivity solutions to its customers, by continuing to deepen their connection with Microsoft tools in the future.
In order to ease digitization for businesses across sectors and counter the limitations involved in being in remote locations, Adobe has also added an integration with Microsoft Dynamics that adds Sales Hub access. Integrating Adobe Sign into this mobile-first sales CRM solution gives its customers the power to legally send and sign deals, and fully close sales faster, right from your smartphone or tablet.
For highly-secure industries like government, financial services or biopharmaceuticals, handling sensitive information involves the admin to place access restrictions on documents. Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) can take care of that, allowing users to keep their documents protected wherever they’re stored or opened. Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader DC desktop apps on Windows have previously been able to open files protected with MIP, and now we’re extending this to the desktop apps on Mac as well.
This integration will further support customers to collaborate on their documents such as combining and commenting directly within the Office 365 toolbar, viewing and adding annotations on PDFs using drawing tools, sticky notes, highlights and mark-ups and combining multiple file types into a single PDF.
