Aadhaar rivals Windows, Android, Facebook growth, says Satya Nadella
As per news source, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that the new identity system of India, Aadhaar is rivaling the growth of other platform innovations like Windows, Android or Facebook, Microsoft.
In his book, 'Hit Refresh', launched at Microsoft Ignite 2017 conference, Nadella has admired the digital and technological transition that is taking place in India.
He also mentioned in the book that Aadhaar has scaled to over one billion people, rivaling the growth of other platform innovations such as Windows, Android or Facebook.
Furthermore, he praised the creation of the new digital ecosystem IndiaStack. It is a set of APIs (application programming interface) and it allows governments, businesses, startups and developers to utilise a unique digital Infrastructure to solve India's hard problems towards presence-less, paperless, and cashless service delivery.
