5 Crucial Steps to Create the Perfect UX Design
Digital transformation of an idea to a technology solution is more than just resizing content to display on different screens. The content must be developed to be viewed and interacted with inmaking every process safer, swifter and secure. Not to mention, there lies a lot of complex thinking behind making something as simple and sublime as possible in a logical way. This requires many steps to achieve user interaction and thereby engagement. Here are crucial 5 steps to help you deliver an amazing interactive experience for your users:
Define
Value proposition begins with identifying how a potential consumer is going to benefit out of a product or service. Does it want to consume content on a platform that is open to advertising? Or do they want a marketing-free environment to engage? Depending on the brand persona and information available to play with, a user experience can be configured to this user base.Furthermore, value proposition gives assurance that ultimately it will become something that the consumer would want. Even if a one-liner start-up business idea is complemented with a good value proposition, a part of that value created can be captured.
Architecture
Many people mistake User Experience design for Information Architecture. A user interface on the screen of an end-consumer may look like a simple representation of the product or service. But behind that is an structure or ‘Information Architecture’ just as the lights and equipment backstage of a theatrical play. Architecture involves creating a roadmap or ‘findability’ for the journey of your consumer, what they want to achieve and how they are going to navigate to it. A literal blueprint of sorts that channelizes all the information you have about your consumer to a mainframe that distributes the content to the various work flows. For example, a consumer who is paying rent over a mobile app will have an experience distinguishable from that of another experience on a pizzadelivery mobile application. The two situations would not have the same way forward as each other.
Visual Design
Moving forward from our aforementioned blueprint, the information from the sitemap is taken forward to create a visual representation of that structure. Here, we realize that user navigation works in cohesion with visual design in order to facilitate the kind of engagement that the consumer wants. To do this, UX designers employ a methodology to create a predictable and desirable affect in their target audience.Consumer reports found that users will decide whether to trust the credibility of a site based more upon its visual cues than its actual content. But sometimes a thoughtful designer knows not to move their cheese unless there's a damn good reason, example – Reddit has plenty of whitespace to roam with, yet at the same time the content is widely dispersed and given that Reddit has a very dedicated community of fanatic users, the virality of the content runs hand-inhand with the layout despite major flaws like their line length exceeding the internet standard and content contrasting from the background.Ultimately, they know how to use the site as it is, and it's comfortable.
Validate
It’s important to get the concept ‘right’. Although there is no right or wrong way to making charts become reality, a UX designer must test the compatibility of the whole design. This is done because it reduces budgetary risk and it allows the team to focus on the right things. It also increases the probability that the project will meet business and user objectives. Whether done qualitatively or quantitatively, validation takes place to weed out any glitches and ensure a fail-safe.
Delivery
User experience design does not, by definition, include visual design. However, such a skill can prove extremely advantageous that can supplement a sound sense of branding and style guides to their repertoire of skills. Remember, it takes a great deal of complexity behind a visual stage play, there is a price. Similarly, UX design also does not necessarily involve coding. Yet again, it is a highly soughtafter trait in outsource companies and UX designers. All in all, this is simply a combination of all the documents into one delivery sheet with check points that justify a commercial amount for the time and energy spent in creating it.
User Experience Design is more than what just meets the eye, but if the work behind the scenes is done well, it can translate into an amazing, memorable experience for the user. As brands take the journey of digital transformation, focusing on a great user experience is as important as the scalable solution behind it.
